Although winters are harsh and long, 50 inhabitants live in Le Roux all year long. Their income comes mainly from agriculture, sheep or cattle breeding, and handicraft (woodcraft, liqueurs, jams, honey manufacturing, among others…). The villagers are very friendly, they will talk to you naturally, in the easy-going way of mountain dwellers and will be more than happy to show you around and help you discover their valley . |
